Kambani Arts Film 2 Life programme engages young people and children in a holistic film making experience. Projects typically begin with a theme chosen by a team of young participants. The theme will usually tackle a relevant social issue. Film projects run in three core stages;

1. Pre-production – Motivating young people through creative writing workshops to teach and empower effective script writing and storyboarding.

2. Production – Providing hands on practical training in the use of professional camera, lighting and sound recording equipment.

3. Post-production – Foundation training in film editing, sound, directing, film production, marketing and PR.

Participants gain first-hand experience making a short film from start to finish. They learn the values of working as a team and appreciate how the diversity in team members reflects its strength.
