Chidi Egwuonwu is a painter with a love for graphics. He started in the arts from childhood, influenced by his uncle, who introduced him to an artist friend at a tender age. This friend taught him the basics in art.
Chidi is presently studying graphics at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu. He has participated in a number of exhibitions; G.C.C international exhibition in 2002 as a supporter, Best of IMT 2003. He won the award for the best poster design at the World Habitat day 2004 celebration organised by the Nigerian Federal Government and the United Nations. He has his works on display in galleries within and outside Nigeria.
Chidi says; “I always want my life to be reflected in my works”. |
